Hey, I want to add this to https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/, but this neither has a license or a versioned release. Would appreciate if this could be added -- upstream mow uses MIT, if you want.

Personally I prefer GPLv3, but it's up to you.

Regarding the license, it's available here. This may be a non-standard way of adding a license (since it kind of combines two into one file), but all in all this fork uses GPLv3.

I'll go do one more look through the code sometime soon and create a versioned release. Unfortunately my Model D- died, so I won't be able to make any new features, just accept pull requests :(

Woops, did not see that. As for new features, I thought this was feature complete? I haven't used the official software in some time so I'm unsure what is there, but isn't it just macros + shortcuts, which would be handled by other linux tools anyway?

It's relatively feature complete, you're right that most people would use their own macro/shortcut tools but they're technically supported by the mouse itself.

Oh, they're mouse side? I thought the software was handling the keybinds -- in that case yea I see ur point
