Create the linker frame by parsing an .sps file

Hi,

On many micro-data catalog (IPSUM, WorldBank...) , the data dictionary is actually described within a .sps syntax file that follows a clear structure.

It would be great to have a function that would allow to import the .sps file -

The closest i found is http://jason.bryer.org/posts/2013-01-10/Function_for_Reading_Codebooks_in_R.html but it's not working out of the box for an .sps file
