Encrypted variables

on gitter @MarcGodard mentioned having problems with encrypting variables. Since encryption is an important part of the travis-deploy-to tooling, can you describe what sort of problems you ran into? Namely if you can answer:

1. Did the tool write the variables into the .travis.yml unencrypted?
2. If no, did it write them encrypted but they just did not work?

1. It was encrypted.
2. Just didn't work.

When I manually used the gem for travis to do my own encryption it worked. Not when I used the travis npm package that donejs-travis-deploy-to-heroku also uses but manually to generate the encrypted key.

Also had the same issues with the donejs-travis-deploy-to-firebase.

Not really sure how the npm package that does the encryption gets the needed data, but it could easily be some sort of combination of my setup and this.

Things to keep in mind, the git repo was in a github oganization and not in my github (in case the repo name was being mixed with my name ie: MarcGodard/repo.git vs Org/repo.git).

I can't think of anything else that might have caused this. I will spend some time on it in a week or so if I can to investigate, just moved so time is limited.
