usbipd: error: Networking mode 'bridged' is not supported.

Hello all,

I get "Networking mode bridged no supported" when trying to attach a usb device to WSL2 in bridged networking mode.

Is there a workaround to attach the usb device to WSL2 in bridged networking?

Use:

usbipd attach --wsl --busid 10-2 --host-ip <HOST-IP>

Use an IPv4 address of the Windows host that is reachable from within WSL via the bridged network.

Thank @dorssel for the reply. I tried it out but i get the below error

I have changed the firewall settings for the usbipd to allow all the tcp ports

this is my .wslconfig

and also i do these settings in the WSL for our test environment

I don't know how to fix this. Somehow you must enable WSL to reach the host via an IPv4 address. Maybe ask in the WSL issues how to do that for bridged networking.
