Attachment contents are not downloadable through the API

The API includes the attachments endpoints, but those don't allow downloading the actual attachment contents.
When accessing the URL for the content I get access denied when using a valid API key.

Either add an API endpoint to download the attachment contents or allow API key for authenticating to the normal attachments URL.
