METviewer not honoring custom x-axis labels #609

@mkavulich

Description

@mkavulich

Describe the Problem

I am creating a time series plot and I want to only label some date/time combinations to avoid the plot being cluttered, but it is including the default labels regardless of what values I enter

Expected Behavior

Metviewer should create plots with the specified x-axis labels

Environment

Describe your runtime environment:
*1. Machine: Mac Laptop
*2. OS: MacOS
*3. METviewer 6.1.0

To Reproduce

Describe the steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Generate plot on METviewer Mohawk build using the attached XML
2. Observe that x-axis labels are included even though the specified value is blank
