Usecase as requested

I liek to throw up a movie on my secondary/tertiary monitor to satisfy my ADHD inattentiveness while I do other stuff on my primary monitor like check emails, play video games etc. Because i'm merely using it "in the background" full screen doesn't work for me, but I also don't like to have a black box around my entire video on all 4 edges, as it's a waste of space

Hmm interesting. I never thought about that.
I wonder if Magnetic Helper can help you to achieve this. It's a Pro feature, built for players that support Theater mode (e.g YouTube/Twitch), where you can expand the video horizontally, but have other content - still visible below.

Technically it will work on any player. However, some players like Netflix have decided to put some blockers above the player. Which makes it impossible to interact with, but its purpose is not meant for those players anyways. It'll just be a side-effect if it works on some players without theater mode.

Let me try it on Disney Plus real quick and I will post a photo if it works.

Unfortunately it will not behave that way (for now), as the Magnetic Helper doesn't recognize custom web components that the fullscreen mode currently does.

I do not plan to support it in the first Pro release, but I will definitely consider in the future.
Looks like Disney doesn't have any blocking elements over the player, so this would be possible. However working with those custom Web Components is painful task, so I cannot implement it just yet.
