High Level Summary of the Project: In 2019, article 370, that gave Kashmir special powers like having its own flag, it’sown constitution, was repealed in Kashmir. This gave the Indian central government more control over Jammu & Kashmir (a highly disputed region between India and Pakistan). With this project, I hope to explain the article, and the impact of it's abrogation on the people of Kashmir, by addressing impact on Economy, Stress and Psychological Conditions, Education etc.
The call to action here would be the direction to donate in the following ways:

I plan to start the story from a landing page as shown below:
Note: Each of the images below contain multiple pages into 1 sheet
The image above has the following pages:
- A timeline/history of Jammu and Kashmir, right from the partition of India to the abrogation of Article 370. This will be a 'scrollimation' (as called in short hand), with text and images that keep changing as we scroll down.
- The second page will talk briefly about article 370 and the special powers it gave the state of J&K, like the ability to have it's own constitution.
- The third page will talk about the events leading upto the abrogation of article 370.
The image above has the following pages:
- Potential positives of the abrogation
- Potential drawbacks of the abrogation ( the biggest one being that the will of the people of J&K has not been considered to date.)
- Communications blockade: Statistics/Graph comparing the internet shutdowns in India and how J&K has suffered from the most shutdowns.
The image above has the following pages:
- The impact of the abrogation on Unemployment (in the form of graphs comparing J&K with other states and the country average).
- Economic impact of the abrogation. (in the form of visuals)
- Impact on Mental Health (images/visuals showing the impact on mental health)
- Impact on education (images/visuals/statistics to show how education has been impacted due to the presence of just 2G internet, in a day and age where we all enjoy 4G and high internet speeds.
The image above shows the following page:
- The conclusion page or the call to action. This will contain the links to NGO's mentioned in the previous section. Readers will be able to go to their pages to donate and help the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

I plan on using shorthand for the purposes of this project. I plan to use all the articles that I have highlighted in the section above to add pictures and statistics about the conditions in Kashmir.
This will serve as a good place with information and images that educate people about what the people of Jammu & Kashmir go through every day. Through the call to action (highlighted above), the users will also be able to contribute to the cause.
