Describe the bug

when you have a copper golem placing items into a condencer chest the items dont get condenced

Pretty sure there is no way to detect a copper golem opening a chest in the Paper API - the InventoryOpenEvent and InventoryInteractEvent only list Players, not other entities.

Might be able to use the EntityInteractEvent, then get the block the golem is interacting with, check if it is a condenser/drop chest and then run the existing code logic to do the correct thing - will have to do some testing.

that would also be the same for when it comes to the library and smelter rooms

No usable api event is fired when a copper golem interacts with a chest so this is not going to be possible.

You will have to manually check the chests yourself which will trigger the appropriate code to run.
i.e.:

• golem places items into condenser chest
• you open the condenser chest the placed items show in the condenser inventory
• you close the condenser chest gui
• the items gets condensed (or not if you are over the energy limit in which case the items are returned/turned into Artron cells)

Would something like a trap chest or if a observer can detect them opening it i haven't tested been working the last few days

According to Minecraft.wiki, "Trapped chests can be used to detect when they have been opened by players or copper golems.", but Paper would only detect the red stone signal, not what triggered it - maybe we could scan for nearby entities to see if there is a golem within 1 block

Dose paper need to know if it was a golem that opened it? If paper can detect the redstone regardless if its a player or golem dose it even matter? I dont know how it works but if that dose work it would mean need a few rooms to be updated regardless if it is a new chest

Yes, paper would need to know it is not a player, because if it processed that it would either negate or dupe the contents when the normal code runs

Chests would only need updating if you have golems in your TARDIS - so it's something you could do manually
