v2.4 on m5burner for cardputer corrupts filesystem

when trying to install v2.4 on cardputer serial returns something about the filesystem being corrupted and the os doesnt boot

Hello! I believe you just have to erase the flash (by clicking Burn -> Erase before doing Burn -> Start in M5Burner)

When it first starts, MicroPython tries to create a Virtual File System with the unused space on the built-in flash. However, if there's already a file system there from an old firmware, it'll instead try (and usually fail) to mount that filesystem, resulting in the error you described.
By default, M5Burner only erases enough space to install the firmware, so you have to specifically erase the whole flash first, before installing any new MicroPython-based firmware.
