Python Extension Failed to Load

After installing the Python extension, it shows "An extension requests workspace trust but the corresponding API is not yet fully supported. Do you want to trust this workspace?" Even after clicking 'Yes', the Python interpreter still fails to load.

Hey @GN0816,

can you try disabling the security.workspace.trust.enabled preference? It's not fully implemented yet and might lead to issues (as you've noticed). Afterwards you should be able to reload the app to make the python extension work correctly.

Thank you for your assistance. Although I can now use some functionalities, the Python parser still fails to load, and there is no direct way to run Python code. Only the debugger functionality is working.

Ah, I just noticed now that you're missing the Python intellisense plugin, see here for pyright. The official pylance extension is not available for Theia, due to restrictive licensing reasons (blame Microsoft). However, Pyright should cover 99% of your needs.

It seems that even after installing the Pyright plugin as suggested, the run bar and button functionality in the menu still do not load. It appears there might be an issue with the Python plugin when checking the command panel.
