I am not sure if this is TODO or milestone planned...
Just thought would share my humble thoughts which might help make this more efficient, if my guess is right...
From the network traffic of reading a book, it appears that the fonts are repeatedly fetched for each page / chunk i think, this cumulatively is a significant chunk of traffic / overhead on the browser / server ...
Of course, there would be caching at browser / server sides to minimize the impact of this...
Yet wonder, wouldnt it be better of to check for the presence of the requisite assets, on loading (only once) and serve / stream only the contents that change subsequently (text etc) without having to request for fonts again and again?
