Each time MacOS is started, the Dockdoor announces its startup by appearing in the dock and bouncing its icon once.
Proposed Solution
Can we make Dockdoor start silently by creating a startup daemon instead, where it starts silently when MacOS is started?
I understand that Apple has changed how apps start on startup - it no longer supports silent startups. But other apps have achieved the silent behaviour. For example, dropbox, Grammarly, etc, start without appearing on the dock when Macos is started.
Alternative Solutions
How about creating a start-up daemon, or background service or another way to start the app silently? Or integrate the Dockdoor directly into System Settings, providing a pure MacOS experience? Just like the Wins App.
Potential Impact
This will make the Dockdoor not appear on the dock and bounce each time MacOS is started.
macOS Version
macOS 15.2 Sequoia
App Version

It is very annoying to see dockdoor icon bouncing on the dock each time I log in.
I agree that there should be better way of handling the startup either by creating a background service, a daemon or a helper to silently start. Many dock apps like dockview and dockmate have a silent way of starting when logging in. Can we have this please? +1 from me.
Any word from the devs on this?
