Restoring HDFS snapshots 

I have taken the snapshots from one ELK CLuster and wanted to restore it in a different ELK cluster. 
But when I query for the Snapshots available in the same repository, it doesn't show any snapshots available. 
May I know what are the steps to restore the HDFS snapshots in a different cluster.
