Description

We need documentation that we can link to from the UI which explains:

  • What is the functionality?
  • Why should customers add it?
  • What can you do with it?

We intend to make this functionality standard for all asset views as we develop more (e.g. container views) but for now it is specific to hosts (see host docs)

Resources

@roshan-elastic but read the following issue:

https://github.com/elastic/observability-dev/issues/3302

Also, you can see a very similar implementation in APM (APM allows users to add dashboards per service, we will be showing these dashboards on ANY host).

Which documentation set does this change impact?

Stateful and Serverless

Feature differences

Same
