Users need to update their webhook URLs for Incoming Webhook connectors to continue receiving messages in Teams.
How to Check if Your URL is Up to Date
Go to the Teams channel where the connector is set up.
Click Manage Channel > Edit under the Connectors option.
In the Configured section, locate the Incoming Webhook connectors.
If any connectors display “Attention required”, the URL must be updated.
Click Manage, then select Manage and Update URL if the option is available.
How to Update the URL
If the connector supports updating the URL:
Click Manage and Update URL to generate a new webhook URL.
Copy and save the new URL, then click Save.
If updating is not an option:
Remove and reconfigure the connector to obtain a new URL.
Confirmation:
A successful update is confirmed when the Configure page displays "URL is up-to-date".
⚠ Important: Once a new URL is generated, the previous URL will immediately stop working. Ensure all services using the old URL are updated accordingly.
Note on Workflow Support
Currently, sending alerts from workflows using webhooks is not supported because workflows require a different message format (Adaptive Cards). We are currently adding support for this feature and will updat once it’s available.
Feel free to reach out with any questions.
