GNOME Web doesn't show in Applications plug after setting a different browser #412
Comments
Confirmed this again on a fresh install today. |
I can still confirm this on a fresh install. Running |
@davidmhewitt hm, that's not resolving it for me here; I still see alternative browsers, but not Web in the dropdown. |
I can also confirm this on |
I used to experience this issue too, but it looks like it is fixed. I can see GNOME Web in the default applications settings. |
any update on this yet? |
I can't confirm this issue on the Early Access 8. I installed FireFox (snap) and Edge (Flatpak) and set each of them as a default browser, reboot, and then visit Applications Plug, but Web is still there and I can set Web as a default browser again. |
After installing another browser (Ephemeral) and setting it as default, the Flatpak version of Web no longer hows up as a default option in the Applications plug. Similarly, it no longer shows up as an option in my menu in Ephemeral (which uses similar code to the Applications plug).
I'll want to confirm this on a fresh install, but if it's reproducible, we need to figure out why it's not showing up.
