eOS 6 on YOGA C940 sound plays on headphones and speakers

What Happened

Elementary OS 6 Linux 5.11.0-25-generic on Lenovo Yoga c940 that has the multispeaker setup with Dolby Atmos plays sound both on headphones and speakers simultaneously, when headphones are connected. I will have to use the top bar speaker icon to select speaker output and then back the headphones output icon to fix it. Or sometimes this doesn't work and have to go in to settings and use the Output list there, and do the same.

Expected Behavior

I would imagine that by default, whenever headphones are connected to a laptop, sound and mic would be directed by default only to the connected device. When I unplug the headphones, sound and mic are back to the on-device defaults.

Steps to Reproduce

No additional information here. It happens almost always when I plug in the headphones. Since I have the headphones all the time plugged in, I can not say for sure how often it happens. Usually I have the laptop always on (or on sleep mode). After I use the fix, and the laptop comes back from sleep, the problem is not happening anymore. It will happen after restart.
