Add "block"-compatibility to the theme: theme.json, expose various settings for default WP Gutenberg blocks, synchronize them between Elementor and WP's (like global fonts, colors, paddings/margins/gaps), etc.

This way we can create complicated custom things in Elementor and allow content managers to easily edit things on front-end while our designs are in shape and synced.

Any news on the theme.json merger yet? Details at https://developer.wordpress.org/block-editor/how-to-guides/themes/theme-json/

Presumably this is why there are no padding and margin options in the block editor when adding grids and columns? Please let us do that.

For everyone searching for an alternative: I switched to the free version of Astra - it is compatible with Gutenberg while working fine with Elementor
