plugin not updated for more than 5 months

Hi.

First of all, let me point out that this plugin is great and was able to resolve an issue I've had with another plugin, and I am very pleased to use it.

I just wanted to ask why this plugin hasn't been updated for more than 5 months now.

It's not officially supported by the latest version of WP, and as time goes by, it is potentially more and more vulnerable for security issues and so on.
