The add-ons are separate plugins, so no PR is needed. You can just make the add-on and announce it on the forums and/or upload it to wordpress.org. There is some existing work in #765 |

@dghelm though there is a boilerplate add-on, the repo is a bit behind latest core compatibility. I'd suggest cloning and modifying the Netlify addon here and adjusting for your needs: https://github.com/leonstafford/wp2static-addon-netlify And am happy to help if you get stuck |

I work on a decentralized storage project called Skynet, which (among other things) makes deploying static websites very straightforward. We often have community members asking how to deploy WordPress sites to Skynet, and don't have a great solution.
Would you be open to a PR that added this feature as an add-on?
