Notifications are not displayed for Data Steward

I have tested the notification feature. I have assigned myself as a local custodian on a contract and set an expiration of a document and waited for a notification to arrive.

The bell icon has a counter (1) as expected. But when I click on it, I don't see anything. Nor if I toggle the "Show dismissed notifications"

From admin page, I see the notification was issued.
