Sometimes it happens that I don't have the focus on the bottom line and I start writing a message but it doesn't work. Instead, it's shown a message Text is read-only.
I found that lui-prompt-end-of-the-line does exactly what I would like to before hitting any key. In other words, if the read-only message is received I would to execute that function and repeat the previous key pressed.
Is that possible by applying this kind of workaround or a better one :)?
Thanks!

This error occurs if typing outside of the prompt error (for example, on a message). I think the erc-scrolltobottom plugin implements this behavior for ERC (jump to prompt if point is not already past the prompt).
Hm. Not sure I would like that behavior, if I scroll up I do so deliberately and use scrolling to go back down. But I'd be willing to try if someone wants to implement this.
