You can have it play before Swiss by using one of the regular disc images, or have it play before the game by enabling boot through IPL. |

The thread I linked to isn't actually mine, it's an old thread that I found when I was trying to get an answer to my original question (i.e. can the GC logo be shown in full before Swiss boots?). I will be using a CubeODE (it hasn't arrived yet) and I'm just trying to get the necessary info in the meantime.
So, in order for Swiss settings to be applied when booting via IPL, it was previously necessary to use an SD card adapter, and now (since the SD card adapter is no longer required) the Swiss settings will be applied as expected. Is that correct?

I downloaded it to get the ISO folder that you referred to. Unless you meant a different one?

The few videos I've seen on YouTube seem to show the logo disappearing after about 1 second. Ideally, I'd want the original logo to play out in full before Swiss boots. It's purely aesthetic, but I'm just wondering if it can be done.
If it's hardcoded into Swiss to have it bypass the logo, whereabouts in the code is this? I'd be happy to clone & make my own build if it's a case of changing a few lines.
