Please consider adding a LAN messaging feature that would send the CALLER ID information to clients on the network, be they Linux, Windows or Mac.
FWIW, here is an offering to the users:
I use an old caller id program for Windows (Identifone) which allows blocking and outgoing messages to the caller. I found thru searching, the old "three-tone followed by 'This number is no longer in service'" message which I made into a loop. This is played to blocked callers. It has reduced the number of robocalls dramatically as many robocallers remove the number from their database.
Here is the .wav file in a zip as .wav file type are not accepted.
Two files in this archive. disconnecteda.wav seems to work in US Robotics modem. BlankNumber8.wav is modified down to 8bit audio which works in a Conextant-based modem (Trendnet TFM U561 in my installation).
