Is is possible to make plotman create more than 1 plot at a time?

What I would like is that plotman create 2 jobs immediately and then maybe 30mins later another 2 jobs. This is the config I currently have:

scheduling:
        tmpdir_stagger_phase_major: 2
        tmpdir_stagger_phase_minor: 2
        tmpdir_stagger_phase_limit: 4
        tmpdir_max_jobs: 6
        global_max_jobs: 999
        global_stagger_m: 30
        polling_time_s: 60

But with this config it still only creates a single job when it starts up. What am I doing wrong?

global_stagger_m is still in effect; at 30 it will not start a new job until at least 30 minutes has elapsed since the last job. If you want more than one job to be able to start at the same time, you'd set this to zero.

Yea I tried 0 that didn't make any difference!

Ahh I think I worked it out, it only shows the first job on start. The second job is only shown after the next poll!

I think it just starts one job per polling cycle. So, you still have the 60 second polling delay. But, what is the upside of 2x every 30 minutes vs. 1x every 15 minutes? There have been a couple questions about this and I am not clear what the benefit is. Thanks.

For my use case, I was setting up additional temporary plotting on my desktop machine which can easily handle a lot of parallel plots but I wanted to have a window of time where I can stop plotting and minimise the number of half complete plots (so I can turn it off or reboot if needed).
On my dedicated plotters I just have them start one at a time at set time intervals as they run 24/7.
Personally I have found the time limits to work much better than the stage limits (more consistent number of plots produced per day)
