WrongBootMode("0x13") #988
Description
Two issues here:
For some reason only on my windows PC, I need to hold the boot button during flashing, which seems to be to prevent boot mode 0x13.
I need to do that even for board-info and I don't need to do this on Mac OS with either espflash or esptool.
So: What is it that makes this platform dependent? Mac OS describes the boot mode as 0x3, so this seems to be related to how the device was reset?
The second part: I think the WrongBootMode error should be handled explicitly with a warning, telling the user to press the BOOT button or read up on boot mode selection and download mode instead of just showing a generic timeout causing confusion
