Hey John,

I agree with you this is not the most elegant way to handle this, but Blackberry support needs that object to be global since they the callbacks functions as String params (http://www.tonybunce.com/2008/05/08/Blackberry-Browser-Amp-GPS.aspx).

I guess I'll be working next December in a new version, and I'll try to improve it and make it AMD. If you've got a solution now, Pull Requests are always welcome.
