Overview

Track the full process for "Chain-Specific Addresses" from initial research to finalizing the ERC. This includes gathering and comparing current efforts, digesting feedback, creating user stories, and ultimately drafting and finalizing the ERC.

Objectives

Details

  • Background:
Chain-specific addresses are critical for interoperability. We need to consolidate existing efforts, analyze them, and ensure community feedback informs the requirements and user stories.

  • Requirements:

    • Research and compile current efforts on chain-specific addresses.
    • Organize a review session to digest findings and gather feedback.
    • Develop detailed user stories that capture the desired functionality and outcomes.
    • Draft an ERC based on these insights.
    • Iterate the draft ERC based on further feedback until a final version is agreed upon.
  • Acceptance Criteria:

    • Comprehensive documentation of current efforts and comparison is available.
    • Community feedback is documented and reflected in user stories.
    • A draft ERC is published for review.
    • A final ERC is approved and merged.

Dependencies

  • Coordination with team and community.
  • Access to data and reports on current chain-specific address efforts.
  • Review availability and proactive feedback loops.

Additional Notes

  • Ensure all documentation is maintained in the repository for transparency.
  • Use standard templates and formats to ensure consistency.
  • Regular updates and clear communication will be essential throughout this process.
