Overview

Create a "Wishlist: Nice-to-Have" document to capture all creative, innovative ideas and potential future improvements. This will serve as an index for cool ideas while ensuring we stay focused on the MVP path for shipping interop.

Objectives

  • Collect and list creative and innovative ideas from the community.
  • Clearly separate these ideas from the core MVP requirements.
  • Provide a living index that can be referenced for future improvements.

Details

  • Background: It's important to have a dedicated space for brainstorming and capturing ideas that are not critical to the MVP but could enhance interop in the future.
  • Requirements:
    • Develop a markdown document to serve as the wishlist.
    • Include sections for idea descriptions, potential benefits, and any initial thoughts on implementation.
    • Mark ideas with status tags such as "concept", "exploratory", or "future consideration".
  • Acceptance Criteria:
    • The wishlist document is complete and available in the repo.
    • The document is regularly updated with new submissions from the community.

Dependencies

  • Gather input from community discussions, team brainstorming sessions, and existing idea docs.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure their ideas are well represented.

Deliverables

  • A markdown document titled "Wishlist: Nice-to-Have" that serves as an index for non-MVP tasks/ideas.
  • Clear categorization of ideas, along with statuses and potential impact assessments.

Additional Notes

  • Maintain the document as a living resource; update it periodically as new ideas emerge.
  • Use this document to fuel future planning sessions, ensuring that innovative ideas are not lost while staying focused on the MVP.
