Etsy api revisions are a nightmare

I am actually very frustrated! I have been working with etsy's Api since its incarnation, close to 10 years i guess or more?

Every once in a while they keep breaking and upgrading the API like its a kids toy. I have worked with amazon, ebay, sears & rakuten api and by far this has been the most unreliable ie it wud break even without any change in versions.

I don't know who at the top approves these version changes bcoz the small businesses have to shill out money to make things work again with new versions . So, annoyed at this :@ I have an ebay xml api script that has been working without any issues for the last 15 years but no not these days when the new hip devs wanna implement every new darn thing in the block at the cost of killing the previous versions !!

Now I have taken the responsibility for upgrading api of my store to the latest version, earlier they went from oauth1 to oauth2 i guess. that required another update. its all like a distant memory.

At the moment i have one old application which is now in the rejected pile bcoz its "Dormant - Due to lack of activity". Its dormant bcoz u upgraded the version :s now the new application is Pending Approval for several days now. Like man how long does it take to approve an app, i just need to use it to keep the listings and inventory in sync for that particular store and nobody else.

Anyone here from etsy who can help me get the app approved :s ?
