Onboarding new members is often super annoying because of API caching issues -- the relevant calls are cached for an hour. "You're accepted" but you can't access slack/wiki for an hour sucks.

Would be cool to have a way to temporarily force a given character to be seen as SOUND trial member until API catches up.
