Text sometimes doesn't contrast too well with the background

As the title says, sometimes the text color is almost the same as its background, making it unreadable. I was wondering if, seeing how making a script to build the themes programmatically is planned, there could be a way to add a function that automatically picks the color that would contrast the most with the background, so as to increase readability.
