[Bug] Gentoo cant login in ly.

Ly version

version 1.1.0-dev.98+022d146

Observed behavior

Expected behavior

Be able to login normally like in other distros.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install ly.
2. Add ly to the system's default runlevel.
3. Reboot.
4. Error occurs.

I managed to get past this by pedantically following the instruction on the README:
/etc/runlevels/default/ly:

      after agetty
-     provide display-manager
+    rc-update del agetty.tty2
+    provide display-manager

tty = 2 in /etc/ly/config.ini

but i got another issue afterwards something about permission on the current virtual console
