Thanks for this feedback @dpc.

Some of these deserve their own issues. Just tracking all together for now

  • Trim whitespace from the codes in the verification inputs
  • Make the verification codes shorter, at least base32 encode them.
  • Lead the user to download backup right after creation
  • Make the message that backup is encrypted with the admin password more prominent (bold?)
    • maybe verify that the user still has password before downloading maybe.
  • Add standard metadata key values, so user don't need to look them up.
  • Having the federation image be a link is compromising privacy.
  • If ID of a site is meaningless, it should be randomly generated and hidden from view

I see that each point has an issue that has been implemented. When you say ‘tracking,’ do you mean improving the current implementations, or are you thinking of something specific?

Hey! "Tracking" just refers to the project management. (e.g. Keeping track of the TODOs) All these items are improvements to the existing project.

If you're interested in tackling some of these, you can convert a checkbox into an issue like this:
