Is your report related to a problem? Please describe.
It is not clear how to set API keys using defineSecret. The docs explain how to do this with Gemini models and it seems to work, but the same approach does not work for setting the API keys using one of the community plugins.

Is your report related to a suggestion/improvement? Please describe.
Related issue is being able to set the API keys just before making a generate call. If that would be possible, we could probably access the secret.value() then. Also I have tried to create Genkit models in onInit function but I also received errors like that.
