Started xmr-stak by clicking on it from the Dolphin file manager on Debian sid; no CLI appeared. Continued using my computer for a few hours, until I got a notification saying my machine was out of storage. Some digging revealed that three system logs, /var/log/syslog, /var/log/messages, and /var/log/user.log, were all about ninety gigabytes bigger than they should have been. Checked their contents, which now included a couple hundred million copies of xmr-stak's starting prompt. Ended up having to delete all three of them and restore the previous day's copies.
