Language reset after each update

Hi,

after each update of the Steam package the client interface language is reset to english.

Do you mean every time Steam updates itself? How often has this happened?

I mean the updates of the flatpak package. I don't remenber if i had the issue before i switched to flatpak steam client. I will try with the non flatpaked version and report back.

That's interesting. Does it happen on every update or just some updates? We just recently updated the Steam launcher functionality. Wonder if that could be overwriting some files

That looks partially localized to me. Menus in different language than content. Which language do dialogs opened through menus open with?

That center thing is essentially a browser frame. It's quite separate from rest of the GUI. There's a distinct smell to it if remotely loaded contents have wrong languge and local ones have the right one

Is the web contents ever in right language for you?
