command line argument `--help` doesn't work or missing

A deleted reply suggested --help is not an official chromium argument and Arch, for example, adds it in a custom wrapper. This may be the case.

On Debian 12 (deb package) chromium --help says:

@@MENUNAME has hundreds of undocumented command-line flags that are added and removed at the whim of the developers. Here, we document relatively stable flags.

Kubuntu 20.04 (snap package) chromium --help just opens the manual page (man chromium)

And the official Chromium developer page says:

There is no list of all switches, but most of the existing switches can be found at https://peter.sh/examples/?/chromium-switches.html

Yeah, flatpak doesn't have a manpage so it can't show it.
