HTML string of Simulation plot 3d

I am aware that the Simulation.plot_3d function shows the plot in a python notebook, but what i want is the html code so i can write to file, is there any way to do this?

in principle this could be refactored into two methods, one to get the HTML and one to display it.

@MatthewMckee4 with a local version you should be able to copy most of this code and adapt it to your own purposes?
