Validation of BIDS dataset

This is a proposal for the Shanoir roadmap. After each export of a Shanoir dataset into BIDS (following for example an update of the study card), the proposal is to run the BIDS validator and display any warning or error messages.

This could help users in the process of updating the study card in order to bidsify their dataset.

Hi @cmaumet, thank you for this proposal.
I think, this could be a good idea to apply the validator on server generated BIDS, via study-card(s).
It could be interesting to evaluate, which kind of BIDS export is more "common", e.g. via shanoir-downloader.py
and shanoir2bids.py, or the one, where the mapping rules are on the server (study-cards), to get an idea of the use
cases today and for the future. With kind regards, Michael
