As per @mit-mit's experience in flutter/flutter#8087, people continue to be confused by analysis options. Specifically, it would be great to add a UI to make it obvious:

  • what options are informing analysis,
  • where they are, and possibly,
  • some support in modifying them (e.g., communicate overrides etc)
