Can confirmed that this feature is in Canary; plainly not mentioned a week ago if I remembered correctly. Fun Fact: Adding a YT link that has "si=" URL was a bug. This was later fixed at the time when the bug was discovered. |

Problem
Currently, when users send a link (e.g.
https://youtu.be/0iL0aLUS32A?si=S-nawS3WiYGjZh1X) the tracking data within that link (?si=S-nawS3WiYGjZh1X) retains.Proposed solution
Add an option to
Privacy Dashboard -> Communicationto automatically remove tracking data from linksor
Messages & Media -> InputNotes (optional)
