Occasionally when flying the A380, the heading mode will automatically switch to manual by itself, leading the plane to go wildly off course. If I try to bring the heading switch back into managed mode, it just refuses to. The flight plan turns from a dotted to a solid yellow line when I try to re-enable managed heading, but the heading itself just remains in manual mode.
Expected behavior
If the heading is in managed mode, I expect it to stay like that and as such, the autopilot will alter the heading accordingly. If it does switch to manual for some reason, then switching it back to managed should be no problem.
Steps to reproduce
1 - Have a flight plan ready to go
2 - Take off
3 - Ensure that your AP panel is in managed mode
4 - At any random point during (only occasionally) the flight, the heading mode will switch by itself to manual mode and cannot be switched back to managed mode.
