How to create a new file?

I'm on Linux and I think I don't see anything to create a new file? I feel like this is a dumb question but I don't know how to start drawing. I can only import existing png images

So sorry! This should definitely be more obvious. The workflow is set up where you create and navigate files through the explorer panel. So if you select a folder, you can right click and create a new file or import an existing png to create a new file through the context menu. Ill definitely keep this issue up though until i add a menu option for this and button on the home page so its much more obvious.

Since Pixi has been rewritten, I have yet to implement creating a new file as I wanted to dissuade people from generating new art while the program is still in such flux. I also wanted a chance to think about the structure of internal.File for now, as it may be beneficial to let go of same-size tiles and use dvui.grid to arrange sprites in a moveable way, but this could lead to a lot of complexity with animations and origin points.

I'm still thinking through it, but I think I will keep it such that a file contains a grid of same-size sprites, but maybe allowing the grid to be changed, and updating the base file image size. I will need to see what this breaks, because to this point I've relied on knowing that file size is divisible by tile size exactly.
