Deleting a project fails #28

I am unable to delete a project (in order to create it again in an attempt to fix the hanging sync dependencies issue I've also reported). The web app DELETE request to your API fails with a 504 status.

After a few minutes it looks like the project is gone.

I assume some AWS cleanup was taking a while and the UI wasn't waiting.
For the sake of UX, it might be worth considering the project deleted in the API/frontend while the cleanup jobs are running.
