www.gearman.net #299

http://www.gearman.info/ and http://www.gearman.org/ are both fine. I only see a problem with http://www.gearman.net/. I'm guessing it should redirect to http://www.gearman.info/. |
@dormando @BrianAker do you have any idea why this would happen? |
Since my last post in this issue is August, http://www.gearman.info/ now goes nowhere at all. Server not found. http://www.gearman.net/ still shows libmemcached's website. |
http://gearman.info
I am not sure if www ever worked.

I’m pretty sure it did in August. Also, https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.gearman.info/ shows a snapshot on October 30th which worked. |
I had Gandi.net add a redirect, so at some point as that propagates it should work.
Cool. Thanks!
( I tend to personally dislike using “www”, but I have probably never been entirely consistent )
Oh, I agree. “www” is a relic. Maybe the www sites could permanently redirect to the non-www sites?

@BrianAker : This is still not fixed. http://www.gearman.net/ and http://gearman.net/ both still show libmemcached's website instead of gearman's. http://www.gearman.info/ and http://gearman.info/ still don't work at all, and they used to work. If that's intentional, cool. But http://www.gearman.net/ and http://gearman.net/ showing the wrong website clearly is not intentional. |
@BrianAker : The gearman.info website still isn't working. This wouldn't matter too much except |
@BrianAker: FYI, an Indonesian gambling site apparently took over gearman.info. Also, gearman.net connections just kind of hang now. I have removed all references to gearman.info from the repository. |
@SpamapS, @p-alik, @BrianAker, @dormando:
If you go to http://www.gearman.net/, it shows libmemcached's website instead of gearman's. I suspect this is a mistake with the hosting setup. Anyone know who to contact?
