Exporting html map with layercontrol

I'm using the geemap to do sentinel 2 compositions with NDVI and NDIW.
When I export the map as html the layercontrol is missing.
I can see that all th compositions are on the map, bu I can´t select them.
It is possible to add that feature?

Update the package using geemap.update_package() and restart the Jupyter kernel to take effect. The exported HTML should now have the Layer Control added automatically. Note that only the ipyleaflet built-in Layer Control is supported.

Hello I did everithing as you recomended;

import geemap - to work with ipyleaflet
I run geemap.update_package() - update the geemap
Restart de kernel and clear output
Rerun all the script

The layercontrol is not showing. There is something more that I need to do?
The version of geemap is 0.8.12

Try Map = geemap.Map(layer_ctrl=True)
