PMID:21145416 supports that ABCD2 is the main transporter for the polyunsaturated c24 FAs, not ABCD1. Would it be better to make a set?
I'm curious as to why the peroxisomal beta-oxidation of the FA was made a black box reaction in this model. Is there not enough evidence to support the parallel pathway to R-HSA-2046106? As I work through the mouse pathways, I will see if I can shed any light on this, but in general the biochemists seem to lump similar substrates together for these types of enzymes.
