How to best upgrade to version 2?

Would it be possible to see a list of breaking changes and/or a summary of what changes and restructuring would be required to perform an upgrade from 1.5 to 2?

I tried on a branch but got all kinds of issues and I'll need to dive in to figure out the reasons.

It would be helpful to get your summarised procedure that you likely have clear in your mind 🥹

When running npm run check I get this error message:

Lastly, in your guide you are referring to check for config settings in a Bootstrap starter file - that link is broken so I can't check that one.

After upgrading to version 2, I had to delete layouts/_default/_markup/render-link.html in order to get builds working.

Does this mean there is no longer obfuscation for email addresses?
